Blocked Work or Systems are simply cleared by creating Flow.

Things need to flow to work effectively. Energy, money, our internal system, they all require flow to work. Block energy, for example electricity, and you will create an explosion. Block money and it goes no where and becomes a useless pile of plastic and metal. It is called “cash flow” for a reason. Money must be circulated through acquisition, and then being spent or invested, to work. Sit $10 on a bedside table for 10 years and it is still $10 but its buying power reduces. Cash must flow. It is the same with the Human Body. Get it blocked in any way or constipated and it cannot work. A blockage causes pain and sometimes needs clearing. Constipation needs removing or we become unwell. Our waste needs to get out.
Think about this for a moment. The human body works this way. Eat something repulsive to the bodily system and the body will expel it out of either end. Knot up, or twist up, and the body may need a rub, a twist or a crack to expel the blockage. Flow is needed within the body to work.

It is equally so in the business world. Flow is needed because business is just another system.

I have been doing a locum job in Brisbane that I promised to do at the start of the year and I have done a number of things to have my system working the best it can. I leave the Gold Coast early so as not to get stuck in the mindless bumper to bumper traffic, and I get a good flow all the way up to suburban Brisbane where I sit in a coffee shop and go online and clear the backlog of business matters from my own practice and life. I like to work in my life with the concept of flow. The alternative would be stop start blockages in the traffic, and a huge pile of stuff in my office upon my return that would need to be cleared out, if I didn’t take the time to create this flow.
Flow allows the world to run freely. The office I am working in as locum has a pile of dinosaur type systems based upon paper shuffling. This is fine because it still flows, but it does so at a slower rate than the use of technology may assist with, if some systems were computerized better. Again this is fine, because there is flow. The owner of the business may like it that way so that his usual flow of work and file shuffling is conducted at the slow paper shuffling speed. I am used to computerization and the swiftness of email and bring ups electronically dealt with. It matters not as long as there is flow. The slowness is not a blockage but in my world it is difficult to live with.
Next time you are there in your office and there is a major dilemma, a crisis, a problem, take a short time to look at it laterally and to ascertain where the system has broken down. Where has the flow become clogged and why? When you do so you will be able to go to the blockage and  deal with it so that flow can recommence and the matter can be completed. For example, the computer was not booting up. The IT guy cleared the blockage and the system could run and the work could get completed. Or, a matter has been dwelling too long on the shelf of your office and not being converted to paid fees. Where is the blockage? Is it you not freeing up the system, by completing all you can do to push it to completion, or is it the legal team on the other side? Where is the blockage, and how can the block get unclogged to allow flow to occur?
The ancients knew of flow and lived by its concepts. Da vinci based a lot of his experiments upon it. Thomas Edison looked at where a blockage was effecting the business or real world and went about creating an invention to unblock it and to create a greater rate of flow.
Why not give it a go and see how your days, your weeks and your years become easier to deal with? When you work with flow you enjoy get up and go!
Enjoy your discoveries about unblocking clogs and creating flow! (standard info ending.)
