Famil Club's famil tours reach new heights
This is absolutely unbelievable Famil club invited a group to do a tour of Wollongong hosted by the tourism bureau and on the Sunday we had a scenic flight over Wollongong and at 14,000 feet, I fell out of the plane. Luckily I had a girl strapped to my back and she had a parachute!
Six famil club members took part in the tandem skydive with over 60 seconds of freefall and over 5 minutes under parachute, to gently land on the very popular North Beach in front of the Novotel and all the sunbathers, picnickers, nippers and those that couldn't jump.
Hey - Not bad for a 56 year old kid! that’s usually behind the desk.

The scariest part was thinking about it beforehand, once we landed, all 6 of us said " let's do it again" My special thanks to the team at Skydive the Beach who’ve been jumping out of planes for over 10 years. Some of their instructors have performed thousands of jumps so it's really very ,very safe. Plus this year they took out the South Coast Tourism Awards and the Illawarra Business Awards for Tourism.
